Establishing the Enduring Architecture for Continual Enterprise Evolution
Module 1 establishes the foundational architecture of Enterprise Portfolio Architecture and introduces the Enterprise Portfolio Operating System as the connected operational environment through which that architecture continually operates.
The module examines the relationship between Continual Enterprise Evolution, Enterprise Fragmentation and the need for enduring Enterprise Portfolio Structures. It establishes Enterprise Definition, Enterprise Core Capabilities, Enterprise Core Capability-aligned Portfolios, Enterprise Demand Objects and the Enterprise Portfolio as the architectural foundations through which continuity can be sustained across changing enterprise conditions.
It then introduces EPOS and demonstrates how these enduring structures support connected enterprise operation, maintaining continuity and traceability between Enterprise Definition, Enterprise Demand, Delivery Responses, Enterprise Understanding and Enterprise Evolution.
